Dimension Aero - Backstory

Dimension Aero is mostly vacant, but before that it used to be full of "people". They didn't disappear because of an inevitable event, no, they destroyed it themselves. All because of money. They slowly ruined their environment, hurt and/or killed most species in Dimension Aero, even themselves. They were even willing to kill one of their own, just to get to the top.

Why did they do this? It was all because of their own greed, and their desire for money. They'd do anything just to make themselves richer and richer, and eventually, this society collapsed.

Slowly, less of them started spawning into the world. They were purely an invasive species, so the world naturally got rid of them. They didn't notice. They were too caught up in their own greed to notice that they were going extinct, all they were focused on was becoming more powerful, and the people in power did nothing about this. And when they were all gone, Dimension Aero slowly began to repair itself. It took time, but it slowly began to heal.

Nature and technology have taken over the world, ever since "They" left. Most of the residents of the world are sentient AIs, robots, etc. Most people do not visit this world, since it's so empty and lonely.

Back then, the "boundary" that stopped people from jumping off the islands could be broken.
