The Void of Liminality

General Information

The Void of Liminality is similar to a surreal dream. Multiple rainbows may appear, the sky may change colors randomly, portals to pocket dimensions may open up for no reason, and the stars can be colorful like confetti. This world is based on Weirdcore, Dreamcore, and surreal aesthetics in general.

The Void measures years using Deca Milleniums. The year started at 0000, and after 10,000 years (Year 10,000) it reset back to Year 0000. Every time a new deca millennium starts, it goes like this: “Deca Millennium 1, Deca Millennium 2, etc.”, and that’s how people measure time here.

The usual shows and movies people watch here are quite different from the ones we watch in our world. The Void of Liminality also has some lost media from our world.

The only news station in the Void is called “Reality Distractions 404” and is run by the angels above. All angels on camera take on the appearance of light people, as they do not typically show anyone their true forms unless they are really important/trusted. The angels in Reality Distractions have a strict set of rules they follow, and only a select few can be on there.

This is quite rare, but sometimes, once fully grown, trees can remove themselves from the earth and start “walking” with their roots. They are harmless. They make sure to be gentle with their surroundings.

Warning: Don’t go up these roads leading to the sky! These roads are infamous for taking you to any random dimension, most likely a dangerous one. Everyone in the Void avoids them for this reason.

These are floating stars. Most yearn to touch them, but very few are able to hold them, They are usually spotted in homes or different buildings. They’re a wonderful sight.

They are warm to the touch but will not burn you. They can be held for a few seconds before fading away, but those few seconds feel very nice.

These orbs are called Void Orbs, and they can be found almost anywhere. Some of them float, others don’t. Some of them can be batted around like toys, others cannot. Some can have funky patterns, others have simple ones. It all varies from orb to orb. The two main types of orbs are 'Light Orbs' and 'Shadow Orbs'.

If you've seen a lot of Light Orbs recently, that is usually a sign you're in a good place, and mean good fortune. Shadow Orbs are the opposite.

Sometimes, floating text will appear. It can be any font, and it can say almost anything. However it all depends on where you're at, and what you're feeling. Sometimes, it can mean nothing, or it can be a warning, or it can determine your fate. It is all completely random. But this text is not an illusion...or is it?

Floating text also shows up in the language the person staring at it speaks, so for example if a person speaks Spanish, the text will show up in Spanish. Same with any other languages.

Everyone sees different floating text, if a person sees “it’s just a dream” someone else could see something completely different, or no text at all.

The Forbidden Strawberries

Sweet on the outside, rotten on the inside. In the Void of Liminality, strawberries are the fruit of malevolence, you shouldn’t eat any strawberries you find here…

They are fresh fruits with rotten flavors. They wait patiently for you. But they’re all bad in the end.

Eating them will cause nausea, dizziness, hallucinations, etc.

If you find these fruits randomly with no explanation around your home, avoid them at all cost. Get rid of them immediately.

They can be found in/near:

• Cakes. Remember, the cake is a lie. ;)
• Random baskets filled with them
• White angel bunnies with red eyes (these aren’t angels.)
• Town101. Nobody knows why exactly.
• Gardens.

The Heavenly Apples

Fruit of benevolence and love. The apple can cure the effects from the strawberry. This is the only cure that is known.

This fruit is a gift from the angels and Stanley Liminal.

The white angel rabbits tend to avoid these fruits.
