A vaporwave dimension! It's safe here, but like every other world you must still be cautious. Everyone has a fair shot at life here, everyone is able to afford a home and support themselves, nobody is poor/homeless.
Technology here is a mix of physical media, like cassettes and cds, and digital media. A mix of vintage and futuristic. In this world, people are always trying to sell you things. Most are a bit pushy, but after a lot of “no”s and/or ignoring, they’ll probably back off (And then ask again the next day.) The currency here is purple crystal dice.
Virtual Holographic Paracosm began in the Year 1980.
During the year 2075, something terrible happened in Virtual Holographic to an unnamed man. A company in Virtual Holographic was experimenting with something new, something called Dream Sequence Therapy 1997.
When it was being tested for the first time, employees were left with memories that were not theirs, memory loss, and loss of the ability to have dreams completely, but they refused to expose the company for what they were doing in fear of being hurt by them. Eventually, they forcefully took a random guy off the street and tested it out on him after months of remaking it, being sure that this time it would work.
It ended up failing, and this was the worst result that ever happened. After that, they stopped the project completely and forced the man to keep his mouth shut, threatening to hurt him if he ever spoke up. The company was shut down years later, for unrelated reasons.
